Drifting is the fastest growing motorsport in the world and for good reason, it packs horsepower, hot cars and of course wrecks all into one sport. Drifting is also an interesting sport as it’s the only motorsport where the finish line doesn't determine the winner. Instead, like many extreme sports nowadays, it’s judged by a panel of experts but with one small caveat. Drifting has a little extra help from some gear onboard each vehicle that determines the angle, lateral G and speed to determine the relative complexity of each drift. This helps judges determine close matches with actual data to back up their rankings.
The 2010 Camaro is one of the hottest cars on the scene right now and one that no doubt will be the “it” car at this year’s SEMA Show. Now while anyone can head down to the showroom floor of their local Chevy dealer and pick one of these bad boys up, only a very select few individuals will be chosen by the GM Design Team to build a custom Camaro on behalf of General Motors. In total, eight Camaros will be delivered to the designers that won the design contest with a mix of V6 and V8 model renderings being selected.
