A Few Reasons to Get Out to the HOT ROD Power Tour

Written by Corey Mullane | Friday, 21 May 2010 | 0 comments

Don’t let the name fool you, the HOT ROD Power Tour is not just for your typical Hot Rods. It’s actually one of the largest automotive enthusiast tours around and caters to Hot Rodders of all kinds whether it be a ’67 Nova, ’07 Cobalt or anything in between. The HOT ROD Power Tour is presented by the GM Performance Division so of course that means some specials features and attendances by GMPD’s best. On top of that, the tour is giving away a brand spanking new 2010 Camaro SS which is a great excuse to get out of the house.

Fortunately everyone’s favorite GMPD Engineer, Bill Duncan, was asked to man the tour from start to finish so that he can field any questions you may have on anything from calibrations to sway bar end links. Mr. Duncan will not only be there to answer the most ridiculous questions you can come up with but he also has a fleet of GMPD cars along with him to test out. So if you’re looking for a fun way to spend some time and get to know the awesome team behind the GMPD, it’s well worth the trouble to get your tail out to one of these stops.

The HOT ROD Power Tour runs from June 5th to June 12th and starts in Iowa and ends in Alabama. That’s a lot ground to cover in only seven days which makes the tour much less of a tour then it is a sprint. If you want to catch the tour as it barrels through the heartland of America then check out the schedule below to see all of the official tour stops.
