The NOPI Nationals feature the nation's largest car show, featuring some of GM's hottest cars.
For starters the NOPIDrift Championship was coming to a close, leading up to the crowning of the first-ever NOPIDrift Champion. If that wasn't enough, how about tossing in the largest car show in the nation, with thousands of eager fans on hand?
Yep, it's September, and that means it's time for NOPI Madness!
Sunday was a beautiful day and the fans were out in force. We had a great time down in the GM Owners area talking to owners about their cars and what they have done with them. Better yet, the Godfather of GM Sport Compact, Bob Kern, was on hand to pass out some great awards to owners with some awesome cars. Stay tuned for a post on that soon!
The fans of the NOPI show enjoyed coming by the booth and taking photos with all of the great GM Tuner cars that were on site. They received a lanyard and card showing them how to go on this website to redeem their photos. This is similar to what we do at HIN with the GM VIP Studio. If you havenât had a chance to come by and get your picture taken, make sure to come by a HIN event to take part in the fun!
Throughout the weekend, we had a lot of fun working with all kinds of media, climaxing at the end of the day on Sunday, when our friends at S3 Magazine came by for a shoot with Brian Ballard and his orange Cobalt. Ben Howard from S3 shot the car, and we are all very excited to see how it comes out! Stay tuned to S3 Magazine to see the article.
Keep checking back throughout the week, as we will be updating the site with more NOPI photo galleries and stories.
