To kick off the 2007 season, the GM Tuner Tour exploded on the scene at the Long Beach Grand Prix and Formula Drift event.

With new graphics, display components floor plan and new hot rides, the tour was a huge hit. The weather was sunny and 75 degrees for the event with an estimated 10,000 people in attendance.

There was a great deal of interest in our new rides, particularly the Mark Arsenal Solstice and the Set Up TV show Solstice. Additionally, many people were eager to have their picture taken by the Red Bull Solstice as Rhys Millen was racing at this event.

On top of that, loads of race enthusiasts lined up for their chance to see and take pictures of the 9-second Jason Whitfield Cobalt. The Time Attack Cobalt was also a big hit with the fans at this show, thanks to its now iconic status in the time attack event.

Our Tuner girls did a great job and gave away a ton free XM key chains as well as other goodies we where passing out. We also had a nice treat when well-known model Sunisa Kim worked the GM Tuner Tour booth, as she helped promote the new our new web site.

This was a great way to kick off the tour and get the season started! The fun has just begun!
