The folks over at GM Performance Parts have been working non-stop for all of the Cobalt SS owners to bring them a package that not only will give their Cobalt a swift kick in the pants but also keep their factory warranty. This does not come easy and we have been working with all of the guys over at GMPP to make sure we give all of you the latest and greatest while the kit is under development. After many meetings on this subject and going back and forth, we just received word today on the details and there is good news from the group at GMPP.
The LNF Upgrade Kit for the Cobalt SS will be available for purchase within 90 days from your GM Dealership. One of the reasons for this delay is the new inlet duct and air cleaner that was developed especially for this kit to give your Cobalt SS the best all-weather protection and tire melting performance you expect from a GM Performance Part. As some of you will recognize, these inlet parts were not part of the original LNF Turbo Upgrade Kit. For all of you Cobalt owners that have waited, the wait is worth it as this kit is designed specifically for your car and has been developed with top performance and reliability in mind. Of course, the kit will also be 50 state CARB legal so you can enjoy it no matter where you may reside. The Cobalt SS LNF Turbo Upgrade Kit will also produce 290hp like the original LNF Upgrade Kit so prepare the neighborhood: the Cobalt SS is about to take back the streets!
