ChevroletVoltage.com - Chevy Volt Microsite

Yeah, we know what you’re thinking, “The Chevy Volt isn’t a tuner car, what is this things electric mug doing on GMTS?” Well Tuner cars aside, the Chevy Volt is going to be one of the most life changing vehicles to ever grace the world’s roads so we feel obligated to at least acknowledge cool things associated with it. We know, you can’t put nitrous, a turbo or supercharger on the Volt’s 1.0L engine (or can you…) and an exhaust or intake probably would be counterintuitive to the Volt’s main purpose in life but who knows what the future holds for this 16-kWh wonder.

Performance aside, we have no doubts that young, hip tuners will bring their Volts to HellaFlush status in no time. Before that time comes, GM has opened up a new portal into the Volt, ChevroletVoltage.com, to give interested parties an opportunity to see what sort of development work goes into getting the Volt ready to hit the roads. The site is one step forward in GM’s mission to become more connected to its owners and features videos, photos, blogs, forums and groups to stay on the pulse of everything Volt. If you’re a social networking kind of guy or girl, ChevroletVoltage.com has set up a Volt page on Facebook and Twitter to keep you connected no matter where you live online.

Check it out and let us know what you think.
