The liberal use of carbon fiber and aluminum gives us gear heads here something to respect as well. As some of you already know, it doesn’t stop there. Nope, Jay didn’t skimp on the power department. He wanted to make a great deal of power and has done so in the range of 750 Horsepower at 48,000 RPM. LOL, yeah you read that right, this sucker is powered by a Honeywell LT101 jet turbine engine.
You really have to look through pics of the car to get the full understanding of how amazing this car really is. Here’s another little fact, this car is not some museum stunt piece. Nope, it’s a real deal car that Jay has actually been seen driving around the streets of L.A. How cool is that? Jay Leno is a true car nut and owns many rare and incredible pieces of automotive art. He has an amazing garage in Southern California where he houses all of his toys. Man, what it would be like to live that life huh?
We saw that Autoblog ran a story on the EcoJet and had a pretty cool video on it as well. It brought us down memory lane a bit, so I thought this morning I would give you guys a little peak inside here on what we have experienced firsthand.
Enjoy the pics and video.
