Gardella Racing Promo Video
Gary Gardella and his band of merry men at Gardella Racing have been bringing the heat for the 2010 Formula Drift season. Seemingly burning the candle at both ends, the boys at Gardella Racing appear to be everywhere lately. We came across a video they put together to show everyone exactly what the Gardella Racing team is all about. It’s definitely worth the watch with interviews from Gary and Ryan and some wicked shots of the Mobil 1 Pontiac Solstice in action. Check it out after the jump.
Formula Drift Long Beach – Round 1
From the Newsroom: Sport Compact Car Magazine features Rhys Millen and the GXP Drift Solstice

Many of our fans have asked, "What do the teams do during the times of the year when they are not racing?"
Simple, they race airplanes and anything else that will challenge them! Our teams are some of the best on the planet, and their drives and desires to win at just about everything they do are incredible!
Red Bull signs Ryan Tuerck as newest athlete
Tuerck Takes Irwindale!
Irwindale is known as the "House of Drift" and for good reason as this past Saturday 15,000 Drift-hungry fans packed the Irwindale Speedway to watch the final round of the Formula D season come to a close in dramatic fashion. GMTS was all hands on deck as we rooted for our man Ryan Tuerck and his Mobil 1/Gardella Racing Pontiac Solstice as he faced an uphill battle against some of the top names in Drifting at a packed house at Irwindale. Tuerck took to the challenge like a sideways fish to water and in his typical style, went all out in every aspect of every matchup.
Congratulations to Darren McNamara on his Formula D Victory at Wall Speedway.
Darren McNamara of Falken Tires Motorsports pilots one of the baddest Saturn Sky's in the world. He has been charging hard in the car all year and his hard work finally paid off at the Formula D event in New Jersey. Darren was running really strong at this event and has made all of us ECOtec lovers proud with his performance and win. We love seeing performances like this and I'm sure Mr. Roger Penske does as well. Saturn, may it live forever!
GM Nearly Sweeps Formula Drift Atlanta

Formula Drift Atlanta was a huge event for Pontiac drifting: two Solstices on the podium and the GTO in fourth. It was a long haul for event winner Rhys Millen, who persevered through two qualifying rounds and four elimination rounds. Rhys had an unwaivering focus. This will probably make me sound old and dorky, but remember Ice Man from Top Gun? That was Rhys this weekend: no mistakes. None. Then there's modest Dai Yoshihara, claiming that he was still getting used to being behind the wheel of the GTO. . . Dai, I don't think you can say that any more, because it's clear you have pretty good handle on it! And Ryan Tuerck. Only his second Formula Drift event in his new Solstice with a new team, and he lands himself on the podium.
Gary Gardella: A Look Into 2008

Gary Gardella made a name for himself the right way in the racing industry. His reputation is very good and always well received because he has been there from the beginning, has maintained an incredible attitude and runs with an amazing passion to win! I have rarely seen Gary stop at a table to sign autographs where there wasn't a line of enthusiasts waiting to get his autograph and to have a chance to talk to him. One of my favorite things about Gary is that he approaches each fan as his most important. And it shows!
Gardella Racing Gears Up for a New Season

With the off season coming to end, Gardella Racing has got a lot done and it still feels as though we have a ton of work left to do. Our drag and drift programs have gone well over the past few months. Here is a quick recap. We are headed back down south to get some more testing in with the Red Bull Cobalt to make sure the new wire harness has no flaws in it; along with some other major upgrades we have done. We are excited for the changes and will keep everyone posted on how testing goes.
