There are a few reasons why Drifting is the World’s fastest growing motorsport, but mostly it’s because the people that are tied to this sideways motorsport just know what’s up. Sure Drifting has tons of close calls and horsepower hitting the pavement, but the people behind all that action is what really drives the sport. Some of them are crazy, some creative and some are just your everyday gearheads. What the team over at Falken Tire did was put some of those aforementioned people in front of a camera and some behind it to make just about the coolest Drifting video we’ve seen in quite some time.

The reason we’re featuring this video though is because it features a Saturn Sky piloted by none other than all around driving stud Darren McNamara. DMac has a little more motivation under the hood this year also as the 2010 Falken Tire Saturn Sky is equipped with Chevy-based Sprint Car V8 that pumps out 800bhp and 720 lb.-ft of torque. That’s quite a bit of power for the little Sky. Given all the extra power, we don’t think he’ll have much trouble kicking out the rear end at all this season – say about 40% throttle will do it.
