Power Slot Front Rotors
Power Slot's exclusive Vac-U-Slot pattern evacuates heat, gas and dust generated during hard braking, keeps the brake pad surface clean, and pushes water off the braking surface in wet conditions. The Vac-U-Slot also serves as a visual wear indicator. The slot is machined to the rotors minimum thickness where it terminates at the outside edge. If you cannot see the slot at the outside edge, the rotor has worn down to its discard depth.
Power Slot slotted rotors are finished in a military-spec Cadmium plating for extended rust resistance. Although contact with the brake pad will wear out the plating on the braking surface, our Cadmium plating protects the internal cooling vanes that provide critical structural support for the rotor.
