We know what you'€™re thinking. How is a Cobalt LT making a pair of 26 x 10 x 15 Mickey Thompson'€™s scream with mercy? Well, this just isn’t your regular grocery getter Cobalt, this blue behemoth is the Turbo Street Chevy Cobalt built by CSI Racing and driven by Brian Ballard. We'€™re highlighting this photo this week because it is a great shot of a car that is a great example of what the ECOtec engine is all about, delivering awe-inspiring power inside a non-descript package.

The Mobil 1/CSI Racing Chevy Cobalt packs an amazing 900hp under its stock-formed carbon-fiber hood, which is as impressive a task as it is to keep this 8-second street monster looking like it just rolled off the production line. Ballard'€™s Cobalt has a myriad of records from various racing series€™ including its latest stint as the world'€™s fastest FWD Street car, until it was usurped in the never ending battle for that coveted title.

So enjoy the shot and check out the rest of the pictures of the Mobil 1/CSI Racing Chevy Cobalt here.
