Recently, GM Racing hosted a class for engine builders, where we showed off our GM Racing Powertrain facility and all the cool things going on in the world of pro-level, turbo-charged ECOtec race engines.

Attention, LSJ-owners!

If you are working on upgrading your Cobalt SS Supercharged or ION Redline for off-highway performance, you'€™ve probably already read Chapter 6 of the ECOtec 2.0L LSJ Power Book (if not, you can download it from gmtunersource.com by clicking on "€˜Racer Tech"€™ then "€˜ECOtec LSJ Build Book"€™). Many of you have already emailed, asking about the high-performance cams that are referenced in that chapter. Well, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that GM Racing has these cams available, right now, for sale. The bad news is that we don’t have very many.

No surprise, it was a sweltering event at the NHRA Sport Compact Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Why they have this event in the middle of July, I can only imagine. . . and what I imagine is some evil character rubbing his hands together and chuckling as he envisions this experiment in heat torture, wondering if, maybe this year, someone will spontaneously combust. No one did.
