For Real: CTS-V Coupe

Isn’t it true that the beautiful ones are always crazy? Well with the official announcement of the CTS-V Coupe, it really gives that statement a whole new lease on life. Cadillac has gone and done what the 5 year old boy in all of us wanted since the announcement of the CTS Coupe – release a V-Series version. Powered by the 556HP Supercharged LSA and equipped with accoutrements like Brembo brakes, Magnetic Ride Control, microfiber inserts and coverings and LEDs abound, the CTS-V Coupe is the ultimate in factory tuned vehicles.
At this point I could go on and on about how the CTS-V Coupe can lap the Nürburgring in under 8-minutes, goes from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and is the first four-door production car to ever accomplish that first feat. However, I won’t do that because this Cadillac just has too much class to care about such frivolous feats. Instead I’d like to point out the absence of a B-pillar, the removal of conventional door handles that are replaced with touch-pad versions, nearly horizontal back glass and a hand-stitched microfiber clad cabin. High-end features are what the CTS-V Coupe is all about, however one standard feature that shows as much form as it does function, is the standard Magnetic Ride shocks that can “read the road” faster than Lewis Hamilton on Ritalin – for those counting, that’s independent shock damping once every millisecond.
Forget about the girl next door, the craziest bombshell of them all has arrived and she has our heart: her name, the CTS-V Coupe. The CTS-V Coupe will go on sale early this summer, which seems like a relative forever seeing how we’ll be staring nonstop at the stunning pictures of this beauty until its release.
